Recently my Facebook profile disappeared, and on further investigation I found that many people have run into this problem. As everyone knows, Facebook support is pretty poor if your problem doesn't fall into one of the help categories. There is a user forum and you can post your problem and hope that someone in Facebook support picks it up, but it could take long time.
Since Facebook is being used for business by many people, its time for them to introduce a professional support facility, where you can log a problem, get a ticket number and progress the issue until it is solved.
Until that happens, and it could be sometime (if ever) consider backing up your
